Catastrophic Bleed Management

Our Catastrophic Bleed Management Course is suited towards outdoor and remote activities, as well as individuals that work in high risk industries e.g. Agricultural, Forestry, Tree surgery, Farming, Game shooting, Security, Construction and more...). 

This 3 hour course can be a standalone teaching session for those who already hold an in date Level 3 Emergency First Aid or Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification. It can be an additional bolt on to your booked 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work or 3 day First Aid at Work course.

• Primary survey
• Catastrophic bleeding
• Haemostatic dressings
• Tourniquets
• Top-to-toe survey
• Environmental issues
• Handover to the emergency services
